Finally warming up around here, today it was 35 degrees with little wind. Half day of school meant a half day of snowboarding with dad. Parker had fun on the hill and really improved at riding with some speed. He even tried his toe edge a few times. It was cool to be out there with him and watch him get better in a matter of hours. Definitely doing more half days during the week next year, we never had to wait in line to get on the lift. 3 straight hours of riding. He even found $5 at the top of the hill.

Sunny, a little colder out but we were able to bring Parker's friend Jacob. The boys spent the whole day at the Learning Hill b/c it was Jacob's first time snowboarding. After about 5 times down they got the hang of it and spent the next 2 hours going up and down without my help. Parker kept working on his S turns and Jacob worked on slowing down without sitting down. They definitely had fun. We even got to watch a few people attempt to cruise over the "water puddle", no way I would try that b/c if you don't make it, you end up swimming in fully gear in water that is near freezing.
